O nas // About

The Moon (Luna) is the Earth's only natural satellite. The word Luna is of Latin origin.
The average centre-to-centre distance from the Earth to the Moon is 384.401 km. That's why in Luna\TBWA we often say »You're so high-up!«, or, more kindly, »Where did you fly-off to?«
There are a couple of other, more general (and definitely interesting) definitions, such as: »You belong to the Moon!« or »Why are you moonwalking again?« Those describe various creative tendencies of eccentric individuals who take full advantage of joys of life ... as long as they're legal (although we always admit to have inhaled).
Another interesting quote we hear rather often comes from our clients: »Have you fallen from the Moon?«. To this, we cannot but answer affirmatively; at the same time, we know that we have done something great / extraordinary / different.
And to sum up: the first human object which fell onto the surface of the Moon was the space proble Luna 2 in 1959. Man made his first steps on the Moon's surface in 1969, from the board of Apollo 11. Some decades later, Mitja Milavec stepped onto the Moon – among the Moon's inhabitants, he is now known as the one with a small white dog.
The Moon is, apart from the Earth, the only space body ever to be walked on by humans. Today, cca 40 people walk across the Moon (Luna), and you can be in touch with their interests via this group.
