Raynah has been an inspiration to those newer to photography. Her pictures have encouraged me to get outside in the garden, using all that fabulous natural light. She has such a good eye for composition, especially with her flowers and plants. I especially love her photos with 'other people's words' - she (rightfully) shows off her literary sensibilities AND her photographic talent, in creative, amusing and thoughtful ways. She is a steady hand at the till of the HPAD group, steering us so subtly that we barely realise that, months on, we've been on quite a journey. Thanks Raynah.

Lumpy's pictures show her great technical ability, but more importantly, highlight her eye for beauty, particularly in the natural world and with organic forms. Her photos often convey a dreamy or idyllic feel, and her composition is fabulous. Of late, her ability to match photos with text quotations has taken her in new and wonderful directions. She's always generous with her comments and I've 'gotten to know' her through these as much as her photos, but her photos with matching quotations show just how much and how creatively she thinks about her shots.
