Im an Artist/Designer and Maker something which I hold very true to and feel vital to mention, basically I work within a framework that straddles and weaves in between Fine Art, Design and Craft and aim to produce objects, both one-offs and in editions that provoke a sense of entertainment, enjoyablility and most importantly pure aesthetical delight, alongside, but quite rightly lastly, a function - this function covers the function of 'pleasure' which I believe is Art's function, there surely is pleasure in provocation - giving and receiving? But beyond this pleasure I believe that a functionality given to an object allows itself to be understood by a much wider audience, by placing it within a recognisable framework.
