As someone that is bad at introductions, the prospect of having to introduce myself to people that are evaluating my art has kept me somewhat paralyzed. My name is Luke, I'm 33, and I live in Atlanta, and I first started taking pictures with disposable cameras when I was young.

As our family entered the digital age, I started shooting on the family's Kodak point-and-shoot in the early 2000's. As I grew up, I'd shoot with my junky, flip-phone camera, the family digital, or anything else I could get my hands on. Upon entering high school, I got my first taste of proper film photography and darkroom processing. My love and eye for monochromatic photography was born.

During my senior year of high school, my family gifted me with a 2003 Canon DSLR body. Though it was outdated, it gave me a taste for shooting with a proper workhorse camera. After years of limiting my hobby to shooting with my iPhone, in 2020, I finally pulled the trigger on buying a Nikon D7500 and re-entering the world of photography.
