if my life was captured in a series of still images, it is my hope that I'd be happy flicking through them. More than this I seek to honor God and hope HE is happy flicking through them

Anything I include on my stream, I cannot take credit for...I may have been in the right place, set up the shot or edited the shot afterwards but it was God and God only who is the ultimate creator!

I do not create images, they surround us wherever we are...I simply capture them.

I am a lover of life and my photographic goal is to celebrate life and ALL aspects of it. It is my hope that I can have apositive influence on anyone who comes across my work.

I see my camera as an extension of my body, a third eye of sorts. Whilst my two God given eyes see the world, my third eye seeks to capture these visions.

I live in the Southern suburbs of Sydney with my darling wife and baby girl. I am currently using a Nikon D90 and Tamron's 70 - 200 f-/2.8, Nikon 50mm f-/1.8 and Nikon 18 - 105 f-/3.5-5.6

Above all I hope you enjoy my work and can experience the beauty of creation through it! There is beauty everywhere we are, the challenge is to appreciate it.

I live in this world but not part of it...

Luke's constant eye for perspective never ceases to amaze me. His compositions, no matter what the subject, bring together and depict a beauty that can only come from within. Luke's street photography captures a world and reality that we rarely see in our own everyday lives. It's there, but in our own hectic and sometimes self focused worlds, we miss it. Luke inspires and humbles while he shares a part of himself, raw and real.

Luke has been one of those people I have never met face-to-face, but as a contact on here has been interested in what I do from the start of my flickr days. He has certainly helped in the development of my photography. The thing I love about Luke's photostream is his ability to capture what others normally wouldn't and still make it interesting. I also envy his ability to stick to his projects and complete them with outstanding results. How do you just walk up to a stranger and grab an on the spot shot that conveys such feeling and personality. Have a look through his work, you will not be disappointed. Thanks Luke!

Luke-rative's approach to photography is as special as the carefully written poems for each photograph. His compositions for the "100 Strangers in 100 Days" bring out a extraordinary wit and have made me so happy that has the skills to articulate so well what others would consider ordinary.
