LCLA OFFICE is an Architecture studio and international research platform based in Medellín, Colombia.

The practice stands in the intersection between the fields of landscape, architecture and urbanism, oriented toward new forms of public realms through environmental and territorial operations.

 

In 2010 Luis Callejas was selected as one of the ten best young architecture practices by the Iakov Chernikhov foundation, after the evaluation of 133 nominees from 25 countries. In 2010 Luis Callejas together with Edgar Mazo and Sebastian Mejia completed the aquatic centre for the XI South American games, a 20 000 square meter open air complex of swiming pools and public space in Medellin, Colombia.

In 2011 Luis Callejas in association with E Mazo, S. Mejia and Manuel Villa, completed the renovation of "El Campin", the main soccer stadium in Colombia for the 2011 sub20 world cup. Both projects were awarded trough open and public international competitions.

Since 2008 Luis Callejas has received diverse recognitions in sixteen design competitions.

 

LCLAOFFICE starts after the dissolution of studio Paisajes emergentes in December 2011.
