Hi everyone, first of all thanks for coming to visit my profile! ;)

I am a self-taught italian photographer. What i really love about photography is the opportunity to create a dreamlike picture of reality, the chance that i have - when i am behind a camera - to convey feelings through an image.

It's the emotional aspect of photography that always fashinated me, i leave to others disquisitions about which is the best sensor or camera format.

To me photography is a sort of involutional process, you have to take away all that's not necessary to reach the core of things.

That's why i often use the out of focus tecnique, or ICM (intentional camera movement)

I love to create my images in-camera, so - even if i often add textures - all the pictures you can see in my pages are not photoshopped in THAT SENSE, i do not add or remove elements, i do not change what my camera records.

To do that, i mostly use Lensbaby lenses, my all-times favourite lenses.

I mostly shot with sweet50, edge50 and edge80 (even if i own many more)

They allow you to create incredible in-camera pictures, dreamlike and sometimes surreal.

Someone might say what i am doing is not photography, or is crap.

I don't mind, i shot for myself and because i feel the need to do it.

So love them or hate them, these are my shots!

This is me!

I love old buildings, moss covered cemetery statues, i love decaying places, medieval cities, dark and gloomy dungeons below ancient castles. All places where my imagination is tickled to create and see reality in a different way.

As one of my friends wrote in his lyrics: "Reality is distortion of perception" or "There's no stronger drug than reality"

Maybe he was true.
