I have an art history degree but I spend my days doing math.

I love taking photographs but I have no formal training. I learn something every day that will make me better. Okay, most days.

My favorite activities usually involve the outdoors so my pictures are mainly nature shots. I love where I live. truly madly deeply

Thanks for looking!

When I first found carolyn_in_oregon on Flickr I was interested in her photos because I could see that she went to a lot of the same places that I like to go to. Then I found out that she knows about a bunch of places that I didn't know about. That was even better. Then I found out that she has a natural feel for composition. Even better. Throw in her fluid style of photography with her ability to find the off-beat even on well-worn paths and you have a real winner. Plus she has a great sense of humor. I cannot imagine anyone regretting spending a few moments in Carolyn's photos. You'll probably want to spend more time than that. Rock on, Carolyn.
