The very same can be said of a photograph.

Taking photographs has been a passion since I was a child.

 

I was born in Italy and raised between the mountains of Northern Italy and the Mediterranean summers in Sicily where my parents are from, and where my family lives to this day. At the young age of six, my family and I moved to Puerto Rico where we lived a tropical, richly cultural and colorful life. I now live in picturesque New England, where the seasons are intensely beautiful, the air crisp, and inspiration lives right outside the doors of my little white cottage.

  

  

My love of travel is deeply embedded into who I am. I travel as frequently as I can, photographing and writing as I explore new places. My love of literature and of cultures besides my own lends sensitivity to the way in which I perceive the world around me.

  

  

A photograph is more than a capture of color and light, it is the freezing of a moment in time, the smell of the air, the sounds in the distance, how we felt at that time, how the world was around us then. Long after our memory fades, a photograph can bring back to us details long forgotten, and with them, the very essence of who we were and who we still are. My photographs aim to capture essence and spirit above all.

Greeting Cards - A line of high-end, satin finish, greeting cards is available for purchase for $50 and is entirely customizable with your choice of up to 25 images from this stream. Cards are approximately 4 x 6, full bleed, made of thick 16pt paper stock. If you are looking for a subject not captured here, please feel free to request it from me; chances are good that I have it.

 

Photo Cards - Handmade, embossed photo cards with deckled edge matching envelopes are titled by hand in black ink (or pencil if preferred) and protected in individual glassine envelopes. Mounted images are 4 x 6. Photo cards are $2 each, and can be made especially for you with any image from this stream.

 

Original Prints - Signed and numbered 8 x 10 prints are also available for $50, in your choice of black or white 11 x 14 frame with a white mat.

 

Signed and numbered 5 x 7 prints, framed in 8 x 10 white or black frame with a white mat are available for $25.
