Hello, I'm Lucinda. I got into photography while travelling in New Zealand and Australia during 2011. When I got back in the summer of 2011, I was keen to try to capture my local area of south London in its best light, even though it doesn't have the awe-inspiring landscape and scenery of the places I'd been travelling. I spent a lot of time in parks and learned that a fair amount of photography involves being in the right place at the right time with a camera ready.

My favourite subjects to photograph include water birds and other wildlife, farm animals, other people's pets, flowers, landscapes and sunsets. I like to try to see beauty in unlikely places, it brightens up otherwise dull areas.
