If I'm not shooting for work I photograph what inspires me. Typically I am drawn to people's expressions, though as of recently I am drawn to detail shots (mostly still life). Human interaction interests me enough that I look people in the eye when I speak to them and people-watch often.
I shoot with a Nikon D70s,Canon 40D, Canon G9, Canon EOS Rebel 35mm, Holga CFN, Smena 8m, homemade pinhole camera,Sony Cybershot DSC-S70, and on occasion I borrow other models of film and digital cameras.
I enjoy filling notebooks with choreography for performances I will one day produce. Peppermint tea is just what I need to breathe and I am flustered if I don't carry around a notebook 24/7 to jot down my thoughts. I have a very detailed visual memory, which would make me great with police lineups. Sometimes I have three or four thoughts going on in my head at once and you'll see me stop mid-conversation to readjust my train of thought. This usually happens when I'm exhausted.
I have twin puppies named JPEG and Pixel; we all share the same birthday. It's a happy coincidence or fate if that's how you want to look at it.
I invite change and live/work in the NYC area for that reason.
I waste my time on tumblr when I need motivation/an excuse to procrastinate.
P.S. if you're wondering, Mark Davis's testimonial is an inside joke. I'm really not a b***h (or a graphic designer). Thanks for asking.
