I just recently retired from the Calgary Police service (Apr/13) where I had been a member of the Calgary Police Service since 1987. I spent half my career in the Forensic Crime Scenes Unit. (FCSU) It was in the FCSU that I developed my interest in photography. I picked up the SLR camera for the first time and was forced to learn the intricacies of photography. My interest in photography has flourished from there.

I started a parttime photography business, LoweBowes Photography, in 2008 with the intent to expand when I retired from the life of policing. I love the candid shots and even though I have a studio in my home, I would much rather meet Families out at local parks.

Aside from my Photography Business, I very much enjoy wildlife photography. Combine this with Travel and I am in Heaven.
