What can I write about Dr. Mario? It's really difficult when you have to describe a genius... so I could start defining a genius:"A genius is a person or a singular achievement of surpassing excellence. More than just originality, creativity, or intelligence, genius is associated with achievement of insight which has transformational power. This is called genius spark. A work of genius vastly raises the expectations of its audience. Genius may be generalized, or be particular to a discrete field such as philosophy, sports, statesmanship, science, or the arts". In this definition there is the whole spirit of Dr. Mario. Especially for me I wait with great curiosity every new masterpiece. Dr. Mario has the ability to successfully explore all fields of photography, from the HDR to the portrait, from still life to landscape... sometimes all this with fun and humor. Since I joined Flickr Dr. Mario is certainly one of the photographers who most impressed me and to be informed about his work I decided to add him among my contacts. Thanks for any great shoot that you choose to share with all us... Master!

It is absolutely an honor to write this long overdue testimonial to an outstanding multi-media artist and a dear Flickr Friend – Dr. Mario. It is my hope that my words would give justice to the quality of work he produces. Doc is a brilliant photographer with a style very much his own – so innate, so real. He has a way of seizing the right emotion at the right time and at the right moment. In his photos are manifested the essence of freedom in terms of space and dimensions as if the very image is about to engulf or capture the viewer in its embrace. He is utterly poetic in style, instinctive, intense and passionate! It takes one to be multifaceted to understand his work, yet it is in this versatility that makes another becomes involved in his every piece of photography. Most important of all, Dr Mario is an amazing Flickr Friend! He is one of the very few persons I met here in Flickr with whom I felt an instant affinity. I am happy to be surrounded by many, many people with so much talent in their pockets in flickr - Dr. Mario is one such person - his photographs blend the drama of life with the ultra-modern processing with such class and precision. I am in constant awe of how his style and will be willing to become his student if he chooses to erect a school for post-processing!
