Vision:
To transform the lives of marginalized children through creativity and to impact the attitude, beliefs and actions of others by providing a window into another world.
Mission:
To inspire marginalized children to envision and transform their lives through development of their own creative voice and body of work. Through sharing the children’s vision, our mission is also to inspire viewers to take actions to support the children in achieving their goals.
Our Program:
To provide digital photography workshops to non-profit organizations that work with marginalized children. Through intensive instruction and hands on participation, the workshops provide an opportunity for participants to complete a body of work that is meaningful by empowering participants with the ability to voice their vision of the world and share it with the rest of the world. LOVE’s goal is to give a voice to the children so that their stories can be told through their photography.
Partnership for Change:
LOVE partners with non-profit organizations who represents children whose voices need to be heard. We come to them with the necessary materials to lead photography workshops. Students meet with an instructor/mentor who provides comprehensive training on the basics of photography to begin their creative journeys. The experience culminates the student’s body of work being publicized through online galleries and art exhibitions. Proceeds from the sales of the student’s work are used to further their education and realization of their dreams.

A word that sums up Samantha and her work with LOVE is "Inspiration." A photographer's work has the ability not only to inspire other artists in their own work, but to inspire them to learn more about, and do more for the world around them. Samantha's captivating, journalistic images tug at the heartstrings, evoking emotions of both happiness (in the images of children at play with smiles from ear to ear), as well as sorrow (in the images of families in dire straits, living in urban and rural blight, and children facing challenges from losing parents and loved ones to horrible afflictions). One could only hope that our own actions and images would have such a powerful effect. In addition to wonderful images, Samantha is even more of a wonderful human being. I am happy to do all I can to help her cause in easing the lives of these beautiful people--but that is the easy part, as she is doing all of the "heavy lifting." Please, support LOVE!

LOVE_LensOfVision&Expression Aka Sam Samantha Saw one of her photo on flickr, I remember it was her self portrait shot, the one with her holding a butterfly on her hands, It caught my attentions right away, at first I did not realize that was done by the model herself (Sam), it was done very professionally I can tell you that much, I have discovered more than just her self portrait shot, she is a talented and a very creative artist, capable to capture nature and life, My personal favorite are her picture with the children’s, full of love, passion and very storytelling, she have new project going on, it is call - LensOfVision& Expression's – LOVE.
