My late mom was a freelance photographer. She shot photos of Malay village weddings (kenduri), passport sized photos and general portraits.

 

I was in my childhood then, I think I was 6 to 8-year-old. I remember clearly how my mum will ask me and my sisters to dress up so that she could take our photos. She constantly shoot us whenever she gets the chance.

 

My passion for photography has grown stronger and matured into something which gives me a new perspective in life and in photography art.

 

 

Many photographer friends of mine asked me what genre of photo I want to explore. I told them I want to do anything and everything that is possible, be it portrait, product, pet, lifestyle, model...etc.

 

I started by approaching several close friends to model for me while I consolidate my portfolios. After some times, I realized that I am deeply mesmerized by the beautiful expression captured on children's faces, the tranquility shown on a baby's face, the peacefulness shown when they smile, and the anxiety and joy shown on an expecting mother's face.

 

 

So then I continue to explore further into these special bonds between a mother and child, a family, and the community as a whole. .........

 

I got my Canon EOS 40D in June 2008 after much thought on whether or not to invest on one. I have not regretted having it until now. Photography - means so much more to me than anyone could imagine. I personally grow with it.

I am drawn to bring up the grace and beauty of a matured woman, be it a mother or any lady in theirs 30s, 40s or 50s. Of course, if you are just a young lady who just want to have your photos taken for fun, I would certainly be glad to do it for you.

Please never tell me that you are not 'photogenic'. I believe how a person look in a photo is depending on the angle and how comfortable you are being in front of the camera. This, we shall work together to achieve!!
