Photos:

Most of what you will find here are travel snapshots. Not art. There may be some Art, but it happens by chance, not by training or specific pursuit.

It is a collective of things I've done, seen and eaten. I've been lucky to travel as much as I have. And luckier still to travel with the people I did.

Equipment:

These days I shoot with Nikon digital SLRs, however some of my pictures were taken as far back as 1995, with an Apple QuickTake 100. In between, my favorite tiny camera has been the Canon SD10.

Me:

I'm a Nerd/Geek/Desk Jockey by day. And on weekends I wrench cars, build things, and take pictures. That's hardly a comprehensive summary of "me", but it will suffice for now.

Go view my photos to see what I seen in the world. Dive deep, there is a lot to see. And I'll go view your world.

Comments consisting of words and sentences are welcome and encouraged. Comments with flashing, animated, sparkly GIFs aren't. Sorry, but to me, they are as if you are trying to get more attention than my photo. But that's just me.

Thanks for stopping by.

I've called myself a photographer since the 6th grade. In Carlton years... that's 1980. In 1994, The year before I moved to Palo Alto I lost every piece of photographic equipment I owned on a six week adventure in Baja, Mex. (My FE2 and 13 rolls of pro-stock film) I thought about giving up photography forever. But when I met Don at WebTV in in 95/96. saw his work with a digital camera... traveled with him and watched him shoot, he inspired me again pick up a camera again. He's a unique photographer with an interesting perspective. I have two photographs of his from Joshua Tree over my kitchen sink that I look at everyday.
