Loura has been a freelance portrait and nature photographer for over ten years. She was trained in photojournalism at Ohio University, Athens, and holds a BA of English from New York Technical Institute.

Loura's photos have been published in "The Kettering-Oakwood Times", "Creation Illustrated Magazine", and Dayton Ohio Metroparks Publications, and her writing has been published in "Quora," "Medium," "The Mighty," "Voices for Vaccines", "Homeschoolers Anonymous", and Demand Studios publications.
