I'm a retired practicing architect living in Melbourne. My practice was in Philadelphia during the 60's & 70's; then head of architecture at Carnegie-Mellon University, visiting professor at MIT etc and Director of Urban Design at Daniel Arbour Associates in Montreal. My architectural specialty is in social and market-rate low-rise high-density housing and my interest is in the spatial characteristics of housing occupancy. Some of my work can be seen here and in the book 'Five masterworks by Louis Sauer: An Unconventional American Architec' bu Antonino Saggio published by Lulu.com. A more complete summary of my background may be seen in Wikipedia.
