About me:

You can usually find me escaping from work through photography, reading, jogging, writing, and travel. I found a way to combine three of those by traveling around the state of Connecticut, taking pictures and writing about each town. What I've discovered is that I usually have to visit every town more than once because there is always more beneath the surface.

Cameras:

I still take most photos with my iPhone because of the convenience. But I am in love with my Canon Powershot N. I sometimes indulge in square formats and apps such as Instagram. I used to use a Canon EOS 20D and supplemented with a Sony Cybershot. I may return to experimenting more with my Lensbaby lens and my husband's Holga.

Style:

I don't usually go in for dramatic photos. I prefer the understated.

Travel:

I have always wanted to visit and photograph all 50 states of the US. To count it, I had to be doing more than driving through (and, of course, airports don't count).
