Lost in Transit is a magazine, an artist collective, a friendly bike gang, a gardening gang , a house.

Reuse is a philosophy of less waste and more salvaging. It's similar to recycling but instead of manufacturing something old into something new, we just find new uses for the old item. Cuts out the middle man with a bit of that old creative spirit.

Lost in Transit magazine mission statement: People throw away far too much stuff. Trash makes it's way to the landfill, the waterways or sometimes just the side of the road. Taking pictures (and picking up) of refuse and the odd bit of litter is meant to highlight, in an artistic way, this problematic habit people have. Not everything thrown from vehicles will be photographed and published. It's all trash, but there is a certain type of trash--aside from fast food wrappers, soda and beer cans, newspapers--that poses the question: How did this end up on the side of a road? Term papers, cell phones, dentures, event flyers, children's toys, books.
