I am a social entrepreneur with a passion for the rainforest, indigenous culture and travelling the world. In 2004, during a 4 month sabbatical in Brazil, I had the privilege of accompanying 2 documentary film teams to a remote Kaxinawa village deep into the heart of the Amazon Basin.

Since then, I've been actively seeking ways to advance environmental awareness, most recently through leveraging Internet technologies. I work at a large Bay Area technology company doing Social Media SEO, Social CRM and developing WordPress products.

I love to help green businesses and social entrepreneurs understand how to use the social web to promote their causes & business. For social media & online marketing tips, check out Green Marketing 2.0

I also am the Founder & Managing Editor of Green Marketing TV. Green Marketing TV covers the art of green and social entrepreneurship, through insightful articles on successful businesses, interviews with visionary entrepreneurs, down-to-earth marketing tips, hands on tutorials, and more.

Most importantly, my experience in Brazil inspired me to launch Mariri Magazine - a web magazine about the rainforest.

Mariri Magazine covers rainforest conservation, ecology, ecotourism, and indigenous culture. The magazine works with activists, writers, indigenous leaders and conservation biologists in order to provide compelling articles on rainforest animals, rainforest birds, rainforest plants, tribal cultures, and sustainable development.
