OK, so here I am, a California native, transplanted to Minnesota for at least two years. I have three goals for my Flickr account: show my family and friends back home what I'm doing and where I'm going; continue recovering from a head injury; and return to an interest in architectural and abstract/impressionistic photography.

I haven't taken any photographs in over ten years. The only camera I have in Minnesota is a new Canon PowerShot SD800IS Digital ELPH; the rest of my equipment is still in California, and is probably too complex for my current cognitive and/or spatial abilities.

A few of my photo sets will be multiple shots of a single subject, under different circumstances, and over long periods of time. The contents of these sets will be rather fluid, as I pick which shots to keep and which next step to take. I hope this will help improve my photographic skills, as well as be good right-brain therapy.
