Qui gli alberi cambiano pelle:

come i serpenti,

invecchiano e ringiovaniscono magicamente tra le stagioni

da giovani hanno pieghe, come bimbi dalla pelle nuova

da vecchi hanno le rughe, si increspano ruvidi e secchi

ma é un ciclo breve e continuo, in realtà rinascono.

Here the trees change skin:

like snakes,

they get older and younger, magically through the seasons

when they are young, their loose skin bunches together, like a new born baby

when they are old, they have wrinkles, they curl, rough and dry.

but it's a loop, they'll be born again.
