Okay, I'll write a testimonial. Hey, Craig-Jay', I think I'm old enough to be your grandmother. I do some food photography for the newspaper I work for as a food editor, so I'm mostly a writer taking food photos myself because I've got no budget. I'm not on Flickr to show off my stuff, or compete, but to learn from good work.and am finding that what I really like as a viewer is very different from what I do myself. (I've always had better taste in art than skill as an artist) I am learning some things from looking at your photographs, which are elegant regardless of your super-geek persona. As a photographer who has invested a lot in color, I'm impressed with your use of whites and different textures. Who knew? I'd d be interested in knowing what kind of publication you're doing. I'd like to see what you would do with white chocolate and with egg nogg.
