After going through his stream (took me a few days) I had to drop him a line telling him how wonderful I thought his photography was/is which according to him, put a HUGE smile on his face. I think I pleased him. I feel now, that after being a contact of his and vice versa that I "know" him. His perspective on photography is like no other. His clever use of saturated colours works every time. The humour that he brings to his photography is real and such a welcome vibe always. I am going to enjoy meeting Kerwin this year. Thanks for all your inspiration you have given me over the months. You ROCK bro!!!

If you have never experienced Barbados hospitality, you're in for a treat! I met Kerwin through some e-mails on Flikr after seeing some of his uncommon and talented treatment of the photos he has posted here on Flikr. He invited me to go with him to several of his favorite places to photograph Barbados while I was spending a month there and I found it very interesting and refreshing to see what his camera found versus mine. Not only did he invite me, he drove 40 minutes from St. Lucy (twice) to pick me up. The result for me were the best sunset photo's I've been able to take in Barbados despite visiting there a dozen times. Thank you Kerwin! As an aside, after watching and reading the political scene in Barbados for years, I would have to say that the future of Barbados is in the hands of well educated, smart and verbal people like Kerwin.
