Wants a new camera but can't afford one! Hoping this will change any day soon by way of a present then I will be after that macro lens that has eluded me for many years.

After joing Flickr via a friend in England I didn't put anything on here about myself but I have now made contacts/friends with people all around the world and this has been wonderful for me as I am a long way from home/England/UK. I have lived in Australia for just over a year and am loving it but am missing the contact of family and friends. Since coming here I have being able to persue my love of photography again. In England I loved photographing buildings marvelling at the wonderful architecture but my love of nature has returned and I try to take my camera and beloved tripod everywhere. I am also a member of my local camera club.

My love for photography started at an early age as my father was a professional portrait photographer. That was in the days of black and white photography and my mother was the artist that coloured the photographs to turn them in to colour.

I am a wife and mother to 2 beautiful daughters who I miss very much.
