A keen amateur photographer armed with a gripped Sony Alpha A700 DSLR and a useful selection of lenses and flash.

I live in Dorset, UK, a lovely county with great photographic opportunities. Mainly interested in wildlife and all forms of Motorsport or anything with an engine atttached !! ,but will have a go at almost anything that takes my eye. My main interest is in insect macro photography, especially Damselflies and Dragonflies, I find it's a great challenge trying to get as close as you can to them without disturbance and hopefully 'nailing' the shot.

Now over my half century, married for 29 yrs with 2 kids, Kari 21 & Jake 19

I'm a carer for my wife who is disabled and is now on her second kidney transplant, having renal bone disease makes life a bit of a pain sometimes for her.
