A cross between Bob Dylan, Kinky Friedman, Dr. Gene Scott , Ronald Reagan, and John Cleese. I am old but young, rich but poor, wise but dumb, beautiful but ugly and happy and sad. I am you..just a little older and a sinner saved by grace. I am retired from the military and was a helicopter pilot in the army. I have made and lost millions, but have always been a photographer. Started at the age of 12 with a graflex given to me by my grandfather and then went on to become the school photographer for the annual. Went from film and darkroom to digital and PS . I actually like digital better..instant feedback and I probably wont live too much longer...so time is important to me. Took lots of combat footage in Vietnam and may post some eventually. I have been known to use herbs, written a book, and was a pirate at one time. I am the black sheep of the family, but this has been one hell of a fun ride. I also went to seminary and faith plays a huge part in my life. never really expected to live this long..but life has never been better. Hope you like my photos..but if not... Im going to TEXAS" Im actually a 5th generation Texan (had a great uncle who fought for Texas Independence) and hope I never leave it again. I have been around the world several times and lived in Australia for a time. I like animals and have 4 dogs, 2 cats, 2 goats, 15 chickensand I feed the neighbors cows and deer. I have 2 kids and 3 grandkids and a wife of 42 years. Have no idea why she has put up with me so long. I ride my Harley everyday and strap on the camera bag and tripod and venture forth into the boonies to find the next perfect shot. I make my own rustic frames and they are both unique and expensive.
