I am Deepak aka Dk , traveler and self taught photographer based in India. I have a few milestones so far in my photography journey . Two of my photos were published in National geographic daily dozen this year.

I started photography around 1.5 years back, and during that time I have traveled to almost every state of India except few in north east. I will be traveling north east states soon as I have dream to travel everywhere in India before I could travel to other countries.

I started my journey with few trips on weekends in a month , then each weekend in a month which further changed to as much as I can travel by taking leave from my mundane job of a software engineer and finally now I don't remember a place where I stayed for more then two weeks from last 6 months.

I travel to new places and capture everything which I find beautiful/interesting . I always try not to take a picture which I have seen before because if I have seen something before that means most of world on internet have seen it before as well. So I believe an original bad image is better then 1000 similar good images .Most of the time I have found my attention taken away by the game light plays around us.

I became a wedding photographer in May 2014 when I took up the assignment of shooting at a friend's wedding. Wedding photography to me is never about earning money, Its the perfect place to participate in game of light and capture beautiful moments.
