I've always loved taking pictures and over the years have collected numerous cameras. I don't have any formal training, but read what I can, take tips and suggestions from others and try to look at what's around me. I think Flickr is a great way to get inspiration and ideas and to expand my "skills".

I've also always been quite arty/crafty and have drawn/sketched or water coloured. I started cross-stitching - inspired and encouraged by my friend's mum - and have dipped in and out of that since the early 80s. For the past 7 or 8 years I've been making my own greeting cards and memory books, which has recently directed me to the art of Zentangle, on which I'm totally hooked.

I love looking at everyone else's contributions and commenting (constructive not destructive!) and always give credit where due.
