It is not so much in the photos that one takes that commonality is found, but by the seemingly insignificant moments that are captured forever in a medium that lends itself to such diverse interpretation.

It is satellite photos that remind us that borders are synthetic, landscapes that every season is special, a candid children's photo that life is precious, an action shot of a crashing wave that rewards our patience, a still-life that removes us from the rat-race and a portrait that reminds us that we are not alone.

It is right here that it all comes together, not so much by our own doing as the vivacity of our subjects and audience alike.

Such is the nature of my inspiration.
