My day job is very technical. I started my journey in photography not as a photographer, but as support for my talented wife to translate "technicalese" into broader guidelines.

I was a "backseat" photographer.

Now, after several years, I've accepted photography sustains my gadget obsession, and offers me an outlet to combine both art and nous.

My early life was in Scotland.

By nature, I am more comfortable in wellies than a cardigan.

I maintain a deep-rooted inner-conflict, with the cost/benefit economic aspects of photography. I am trying to come to terms with this, but counselling costs a fortune.
