I'm a video game developer in Dallas, Texas. I'm not even an amateur photographer, but I love my cameras.

Capturing the kinetic energy of a moment as a snapshot of time is what I like to attempt when I shoot. It's an esthetic that transcends what I *want* to shoot. When I freeze that moment in time, it's what providence or luck permits, not what I set out to capture. That somehow strikes me as genuine, and it's a humble attempt to capture the messy, chaotic things that happen in the world.

I do my best by putting myself in a situation to capture the energy of a moment. If I take enough pictures, sometimes I catch something that tickles this particular esthetic itch I want to scratch.

Some day, I may learn more about the art of photography. Today, I am content with good shots through good luck :) The only part I play is increasing my odds a little!
