Hi, hello and welcome to my photo gallery. My name is Loey Felipe and you can call me "loey" or "ipe" (eee-pe') fo short.

I used to shoot with a film Pentax M Series with Vivitar Flash 3500 Zoom Thyristor and a couple of lens. Now I own a Canon EOS 40D with 580EX II and some fine lenses.

I love black and white photos, it fascinates me so much. I love the mystery on each black & white photo, the untold emotion, the real story behind or the line of thought that was present during the time the shot was made. So most of the images here are in black and white.

Some photos are experimental colored shots and images of nature which sometimes tickle my fancy and interest.

I'm officially a photographer for hire. How do I say it "My Job is my Hobby" or "My Hobby is my Job"?

I presently work for The Picture People Studio as one of their resident photographer. I must say it's both fun and learning experience as everyday I take pictures of people (and pets) in a controlled studio environment. I take pride in these pictures as I know that it will make lifetime memories to me and most of all to my respective clients.

Thanks to all my friends specially the Filipino community here at flickr who all inspired me to push myself and become better in what I do.

"I QUIT!" yup, I quit my studio work (above) and started my own photography business. It's gonna be rough as the economy sucks, but hey, I'm an optimistic kinda person and I think we will survive!
