The Local Food Project at Airlie is a 3/4 acre demonstration garden located at the Airlie Conference Center in Warrenton, VA. The garden provides organically grown vegetables, berries, and herbs to the Airlie Center kitchen. Conference guests learn about sustainable food production through garden tours and dining room displays. The project also hosts a variety of outreach and educational events designed to educate and inspire the public to eat locally and grow some of their own food. Seminars, workshops, and an annual conference provide training to emerging and established farmers.
