The Cumberland City Council, was established after the amalgamation of Auburn and Holroyd City Councils and parts of the Parramatta City Council in 2016. The Local Studies Collections reflect now the history of our Local Government Area, and it includes photographs, documents, ephemera and memorabilia collected along the time.

Cumberland City Council Library Service has branches located at Auburn, Granville, Greystanes, Lidcombe, Merrylands, Regents Park and Wentworthville . Dedicated Local Studies collections are located at Merrylands and Auburn Libraries.
