Ers 1907, mae’r Llyfrgell Genedlaethol wedi bod yn casglu a diogelu etifeddiaeth a diwyddliant Cymru. Ar hyn o bryd mae’r casgliad ffotograffau yn cynnwys dros 800,000 o eitemau o gyfnod cynnar ffotograffiaeth a gwaith

ffotograffwyr cyfoes.

 

Rydym wedi llwytho 100 o ffotograffau o gasgliad P B Abery, casgliad cyfoethog o ffotograffau o gyfnod 1890 and 1940 o Sir Faesyfed, ardal ar y ffin rhwng Cymru a Lloegr.

Fel byddwch chi'n gweld mae’r casgliad eang yn cynnwys lluniau doniol a hanesyddol, o dyrcwn yn cerdded lawr y ffordd i gi yn ysmygu cetyn! Mae’r lluniau hefyd yn cynnwys lluniau dogfennol o fyd amaeth a nifer o leoliadau, pobl a thirwedd Maesyfed.

 

Gobeithiwn y byddwch yn mwynhau’r lluniau – byddwn yn llwytho mwy yn fuan. Croeso i chi adael sylwadau.

Established in 1907, The National Library exists to collect, preserve and celebrate the heritage and culture of Wales. At present our photography collection contains over 800,000 photographs ranging from the early days of photography to contemporary photographers.

 

We’ve uploaded 100 photographs from the P B Abery collection, a rich collection of photographs taken between 1890 and 1940 in Radnorshire, the border area of Wales and England.

 

As you’ll see the photos include the weird and wonderful – including turkeys blocking the road and a dog smoking a pipe! The collection also includes the beautiful landscape of Radnorshire and documentary photographs of agriculture.
