Lake Lure Classical Academy: A Challenge Foundation Academy is a tuition-free, public charter school in the Lake Lure (North Carolina) area serving students in grades K–12. We provide an educational community with high academic and character expectations, creating life-long learners. Our students currently come from Rutherfordton, Henderson, Polk, and Buncombe Counties. The school runs its own free bus service.
