i look forward to kamala's colorful, thought provoking images everyday. i agree that her experience as an educator gives her added compassion and genuine interest in the people she photographs. india is such a fascinatingly different culture than my own. and like others, i also am learning quite a bit about the culture in india. also, as an educator, she has an amazing willingess to describe what is happening in her pictures, as well as answer questions sent to her through flickrmail. i think kamala is a brilliant photographer that catches the essence and emotions of India.
