Recently, while on a personal quest for information related to the history behind an old home in Monroe, Louisiana, where my family lived in the early 1950's, a home built in 1853, later demolished in 1955, I happened to find one picture among LJMcK's collections, one old photograph, that brought the past to life for me. I have to wonder how many times throughout history has someone like Leigh McKinnon looked at an old photograph and maybe wondered who it was, was it worth saving, what was its story or would anyone ever be interested in seeing it? It absolutely thrilled my soul to realize someone indeed had recognized what saving the past would mean to another person sometime in the future. Thank you!
