for the love of painting, poetry and photography.

I'm Bert Dalmolen, an artist/anthropologist living on the borders of a small nature-reserve in the north of the Netherlands. Most times I make photo's in my direct surroundings, from light and spheres that demand my attention: the magic of Mother Earth, the Skies, woods and wetlands. And of course cats, people, architecture, art, love and occasional aliens.

I use photography as a study and research-tool and make photo-books from it.

I make "real" exhibitions from my work, and love printing (but that is so **expensive)

Besides the brushes, pens, paints and pencils, photography is very important, not in the least because I like the technical aspect of it. I'm 65 now (17-05-2020), had a few camera's, tried a few lenses, upgraded memory from floppy-disk to ssd and cloud.

Now I work with minimal equipment: Panasonic g9, a 1.4 12mm, a 2.8 60mm and a 2.8 150mm.

It is impossible to reciproke all contacts, there is so much good work on flickr, to much to comment in an appropriate way.
