In January 2014, I decided I wanted to buy a nice camera. Never did I realize how much it would change my life! I've taken one class and a couple of workshops. I'm not a professional - it's just a hobby that I want to share. My eyes have opened to a new world of beautiful animals, birds, flowers and landscapes.

I have a macro lens and it is making me appreciate the small things... the things we walk right by on a hike. It is bringing all those beautiful small pieces of art to life!

I also have a telephoto lens that brings me that much closer to the animals and birds without having to be in their safe place. Not only am I learning about photography I'm learning about all the different species - very cool! Love it when I see a new bird that I've never seen before.
