I've been enjoying looey's photos outside of flickr for some time and now have the pleasure of getting lost in his growing collections here. Looey's images go beyond the pursuit of photographing-things-for-the-sake-of-taking-good-phots to the essence of capturing a moment in time ... and doing so in a way that allows viewers to feel apart of it. Witness any of his series on Isabella or of his world travels. His captures, particularly those of people and places, have a photojournalistic style without feeling editorial and while maintaining a much higher quality than "snapshots" normally associated with capturing moments like these.
