I was born an artist. My first creation was a “mural” on my bedroom wall. I was three, and my tool of choice was my Mother’s new tube of bright red lipstick. I quickly moved on to black shoe polish, at which time my Grandmother decided to buy me a box of Crayloa crayons (64, with the built-in sharpener!) and a ton of coloring books. After mastering the art of ‘staying inside the lines’ I discovered it was much more fun to jump outside the lines, and I’ve been doing so ever since.

I’m a mixed media artist, which means I can’t decide what I most like to work with, so I combine lots of different elements.

I’m an assemblage artist, which means I have a knack for transforming ordinary objects into something different,

something changed, something that tells a story or conveys an emotion.

My work with hospice, death, and bereavement often appears in my art, addressing such themes as

faith, hope, renewal, surviving, forgiveness, and healing.

Art is my therapy, my passion, my soul, and I hope that my art touches you on a personal level.
