This account is a bit of a hodge-podge....images from my photozine, Littlefields, and images from Japanese photo books, woodblock books and postcards in the Littlefields Collection. Flickr members are welcome to download and share, but please credit where it's due. Note that I do not allow the downloading of images or using the descriptive texts that I write (in whole or in part) from this site for resale by others. If I happen to see someone selling images that I own, they will be contacted and asked to cease and desist. If you want to sell something here, ASK ME. Thanks! Note that the historical Japanese images are continually undergoing research and review, and their attribution is subject to revisions, additions, and corrections. Your comments are welcome! If there is an operative motto here, it would be along the lines of what my late friend Lisa Baumgardner used to print in her "Modern Girlz and Bikini Girl magazines: "Because this is for everyone, we're going to leave nothing out. If at anytime your sensibilities feel insulted, remember that many visitors here are newcomers, and the more basic material is meant for them."
