This Flickr site is evolving. It was initially a way of keeping track of the gardening and maintenance work I have been doing along the drive. I did, however feel that there was so much more of the estate I wished to record.

With interest from my Flickr friend , I decided to turn it into a 'History' site (she is also an excellent artist, and has contributed beautiful photo paintings to the site). With the help of two good Flickr friends, I am able to give a better description of things that are so normal to me, I find it difficult to know what is of interest, or not self-explanatory.

I have restricted comments on the photos to 'friends and family' only. I am very happy if anyone is interested in the site and in following the progress I am making in documenting life on this Estate. I would be delighted to receive and answer any questions via Flickr mail.
