I'm a 22 year old guy living in York and I've been taking photos for about 7 months now. I don't class myself as a photographer in any way, I simply like exploring places that people rarely get to see. Taking photos for me is just my way of remembering the experiences I've had and sharing them with others, but if I'm taking the photos I may as well try and make them look good :-)

I especially like the feeling of being underground and the excitement of entering somewhere completely unknown. I can quite happily spend hours on end exploring/relaxing underground, it's somewhere totally surreal and detached from boring everyday life. I also find it great fun to play with lights and trying to make something that would otherwise be dull look interesting.
