Established in 1985, the Rose O'Neill Literary House is home to Washington College's writers and a center for creative life on campus. The Rose O'Neill Literary House is a large, eclectic Victorian home that reflects the spirit of Washington College's creative writing culture. The "Lit House" also connects students and faculty to the wider culture of literature and the creative arts, sponsoring readings, lectures, and conferences by top literary figures.
