Our Talking Book is a rugged, portable audio device designed for the learning needs of people with low literacy skills living in remote and underserved communities. International development organizations use Talking Books to deliver their messages and information, typically in the form of songs, dramas, and interviews. Talking Book users can select and play messages on demand in their own language and record their feedback. The device has a built-in speaker that allows families and groups to listen together and share their learning experience.

The Talking Book Program technology includes an audio content manager for organizing playlists and meta data, a smartphone to update Talking Book content and collect data in the field, and a cloud-based analytics dashboard.

Because Amplio collects usage statistics and user feedback from each community and Talking Book, we are able to provide analytics to help our partners monitor their programs, gain a greater understanding of the communities they serve, and make data-driven decisions to improve their programs.

Amplio provides and configures Talking Books in selected language(s). Other services include program design, technology training, setup, and support, real-time dashboard analytics, and ongoing M&E support.
