My great aunt was a potter in Nelson. She looked after me when I was really young; it must have been the gravity of nostalgia for my time in her studio that pushed me through the door of the Carlton Arts Centre some years ago. Love ceramics. I studied design, textiles, and was always arty but practical. Clay is perfect, so much to explore...

I intend to document the results from the kiln here on flickr, to keep a history which informs my own practice through grouping images on my own page, adding to others groups, and responding to feedback.
